India successfully test-fires nuclear-capable Agni-5

News 

This is the sixth successful test of the missile and the second in its pre-induction configuration 
Launch Location: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island [Wheeler Island]

Agni-5 can carry the nuclear warhead weighing 1.5 tonnes to a distance of over 5,000 km and is the longest missile in India’s arsenal capable of reaching most parts of China

• यह मिसाइल का छठा सफल परीक्षण है और दूसरा प्री-इंडक्शन कॉन्फ़िगरेशन में है

• लॉन्च स्थान: डॉ एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम द्वीप [व्हीलर द्वीप]

• अग्नि -5 5000 Km से अधिक की दूरी पर 1.5 टन वजन के परमाणु हथियार को ले जा सकता हैं और यह चीन के अधिकांश हिस्सों तक पहुंचने में सक्षम हैं जो भारत के शस्त्रागार की सबसे लंबी मिसाइल है

• The missile features many new indigenously-developed technologies, including the very high accuracy Ring Laser Gyro based Inertial Navigation System (RINS), and the most modern and accurate Micro Navigation System (MINS) which improves the accuracy of the missile

• मिसाइल में कई नई स्वदेशी विकसित प्रौद्योगिकियां हैं, जिनमें उच्च सटीकता वाली रिंग लेजर Gyro आधारित इनर्टियल नेविगेशन सिस्टम (आरआईएनएस), और सबसे आधुनिक व् सटीक माइक्रो नेविगेशन सिस्टम (MINS) शामिल है जो मिसाइल की सटीकता में सुधार करता है

• The missile has been programmed in such a way that after reaching the peak of its trajectory, it will turn towards the earth and continue its journey towards the intended target with an increased speed due to the attraction of earth’s gravitational pull.

• मिसाइल इस तरह से प्रोग्राम किया गया है कि इसके प्रक्षेपण की चोटी तक पहुंचने के बाद, यह पृथ्वी की ओर मुड़ जाएगा और पृथ्वी के गुरुत्वाकर्षण के आकर्षण के कारण बढ़ी हुई गति के साथ लक्षित लक्ष्य की ओर अपनी यात्रा जारी रखेगी

• The path has been precisely directed by the advanced onboard computer and inertial navigation system

• पथ को उन्नत ऑनबोर्ड कंप्यूटर और जड़ नेविगेशन सिस्टम द्वारा निर्देशित किया गया है

• As the missile enters the earth’s atmosphere, the atmospheric air rubbing the skin of the missile during the re-entry phase raises the temperature beyond 4,000 degrees Celsius

• चूंकि मिसाइल पृथ्वी के वायुमंडल में प्रवेश करती है, फिर से प्रवेश के दौरान मिसाइल की त्वचा की वायुमंडलीय हवा से रगड़ने के कारनण तापमान को 4,000 डिग्री सेल्सियस से ऊपर ले जाती है

• The indigenously designed and developed carbon-carbon composite heat shield continues to burn sacrificially, protecting the payload and maintaining the inside temperature below 50 degrees Celsius

• स्वदेशी डिजाइन और विकसित कार्बन कार्बन समग्र ताप ढाल खुद जल कर , पेलोड की रक्षा करती हैं और अंदरूनी तापमान को 50 डिग्री सेल्सियस से नीचे बनाए रखती  है

Agni Series Missiles

1. At present, India has in its armory the Agni series –

अभी भारत के पास अग्नि मिसाइल की निम्न सीरीज हैं 

• Agni-1 with 700 km range, 
• Agni-2 with 2,000 km range,
• Agni-3 with 2,500 km range,
• Agni-4 with more than 3,500 km range.
• Agni-5 with more than 5500km.

• अग्नि -1 700 किमी सीमा के साथ ,
• अग्नि -2 2,000 किमी सीमा के साथ,
• अग्नि -3 2,500 किलोमीटर सीमा के साथ ,
• अग्नि -4 3,500 किमी से अधिक सीमा के साथ।
• अग्नि -5 5500 किमी से अधिक के साथ ।

2 The first test of Agni-5 was conducted on April 19, 2012, the second on September 15, 2013, the third on January 31, 2015, and fourth on December 26, 2016. The last test was held on January 18, 2018.

• अग्नि -5 का पहला परीक्षण 19 अप्रैल 2012 को,  दूसरा 15 सितंबर 2013 को, तीसरा 31 जनवरी 2015 को  और चौथा 26 दिसंबर, 2016 को किया था। अंतिम परीक्षण 18 जनवरी, 2018 को हुआ था।

3 All the five earlier trials were successful.

• सभी पांच पहले परीक्षण सफल रहे।

4 The third, fourth and fifth launches were from canister integrated with a mobile launcher, in its deliverable configuration that enables the launch of the missile with a very short preparation time as compared to an open launch

• तीसरे, चौथे और पांचवें लॉन्च एक मोबाइल लॉन्चर के साथ एकीकृत कनस्तर से थे, इसकी डिलीवर  कॉन्फ़िगरेशन ऐसी थी जो खुले लॉन्च की तुलना में मिसाइल के लॉन्च को बहुत ही कम समय में करने में सक्षम बनाता है
